The stock Brinkmann firebox grill is not very good in my opinion. It can not hold the smoker at 225F for any length of time. The stock one melted on me. Brinkmann sent me a warranty replacement, but I thought I'd fix the problem. This should be the grill I used: www.acehardware.com
